Born and raised on Kaua'i, Micah ventured to California to pursue college and play soccer. As a college athlete, Micah fell in love with the world of sports medicine. Micah earned a B.S. Degree in Athletic Training from California State University, Fullerton in 2014. Micah went on to work 8 years as a full-time Athletic Trainer (ATC) at the secondary school level while also teaching sports medicine, kinesiology, and emergency medical responder classes. Micah has had the privilege to work in all athletic arenas, ranging from youth, high school, college and professional sports. A few career highlights include working the U.S Open of surfing, USA Judo, and with the US Men's National Field Hockey team for two international tours. Micah has been a certified EMT since 2018 and is currently a full-time firefighter within the federal fire department.
